The effects of globalization are felt all around the world. The increasingly interconnected global economic system is the most obvious manifestation of the worldwide compression of time and space. However, the consequences of globalization are not limited to the economy. Globalization has had an effect on political systems, religions, and societies in practically every corner of the world. What is globalization exactly? Often globalization and Westernization are used interchangeably, but this proves to be a rather one-sided perspective. Although all around us, globalization can be a tricky concept to pin down.

A inicios del siglo XX se implementó como (pseudo) programa político por los Bolcheviques en la Rusia de Nicolás II, mediante su derrocamiento, no por una revolución de campesinos.

Esto nunca existió, ni le interesaba tampoco a este grupo político minoritario contrario a los Melcheviques.

Durante la segunda mitad de ese siglo el santo se cayó de su pedestal. La sociedad de naciones constató que el comunicó no era otra cosa la que estatización absoluta, la destruction de los conceptos de Derechos Humanos, Propiedad Privada y Proceso, así como la oportunidad perfecta para a aparición de tiranos (y tiranllos) más desalmados, descarados y de la peor calaña.

El flagelo en carne viva para los pueblos ruso, centro-europeos y algunos de Latinoamérica, donde la Iglesia Católica fue la promotora con su Teología de La Liberación y folletillos semi-intelectuales como los del cura Leonardo Boff, y donde aún hoy vemos con horror lo que sucede a Venezuela.

España sufrió por los comunistas, tema que he ahondado al referirme a la terroríficamente Guerra Civil.

A pesar de esto, algunos todavía suelen llamarse «socialistas» o «comunistas» …
